October is warm in Loreto, which makes for delightful sunrise snorkeling. This was on Danzante Island. Sardines were schooling in unimaginable numbers, with cabrilla and jacks and rooster fish lurking below them. Pelicans plummeted out of the sky until they’d eaten their fill.
