July held the first campout of the Club de Canotaje de Loreto! It’s something we’ve been working up to for years but the Club really picked up momentum in the past year. The Club now has volunteer leaders who make paddling available to the local community several times a week. They have taken safety, navigation and leadership courses. Many of the leaders learned their roll this summer. How delightful it has been to paddle locally with such enthusiastic, inspired, dedicated people on a regular basis! This has been one of Covid’s hidden gifts for us 🙏
