Overnight Getaway

Welcome to your new Happy Place!

SCHEDULED DATES

How cool is it to spend a night on a desert island!? Sleep under the stars for a night, splash near the beach. Live the romance. Pure fun! Dip your paddle in the sea and feel the open possibilities before you. The sky is the limit, and the stars are amazing!

Catch a ride to the island in a motorized panga with your guide and gear and enjoy a night on the beach. Includes great perks: chairs, table, beverage cooler. Because we can!

Single or double sit-on-top kayaks or paddleboards are standard on Short Getaways. Please inquire if you’d prefer a sea kayak.

Great for families! Children as young as 12 years old are welcome on any Getaway. Youngsters down to 4 years old are welcome on private Getaways.

Beach options may be dictated by weather. Here are some suggestions:

Coronados Volcano Island
The closest island to Loreto, Isla Coronados features white sand beaches, good shallow water snorkeling and hiking trails that lead along an ancient marine shelf and up the volcano. The primary beach offers palapas with picnic tables and a composting toilet. The island gets quiet when day tourists head back to town and this is a magical time to be out there. Take a motorboat ride around the island on drop-off day.

Danzante Island of Dancers
Danzante offers much in a small space. Nature hikes, enchanted beaches, delightful snorkeling, dramatic geology, stunning views. Take the Danzante mushroom challenge and see how many mushroom-shaped rocks you can find along the waterfront.

Punta Coyote Hideaway
This is the best option if the wind is a little feisty. The protected beach of Punta Coyote makes snorkeling possible even during winter north winds. It’s one of our favorite places for kayak training because of the juxtaposition of protection and dynamic water.  Spectacular view of the Sierra la Giganta mountains and Danzante Island.
