What we sometimes call the “Danzante Island Mushroom Tour” is a whimsical tour with rock-solid foundations. A full-day tour takes in Danzante Islands’s fun geological features, its abundant beaches, scenic views, and excellent snorkeling. Paddle along Danzante’s shore, hike one of the short trails to magnificent scenic overlooks. Enjoy lunch on the island.
Choose between paddling to the island in sea kayak (experience required) or getting there by motorboat and paddling a sit-on-top or paddle board.
Meet in Loreto and take a panga (motorboat) to the island and back. Enjoy a stable Sit-on-Top kayak or see the world from on high on a paddleboard. Paddle the shoreline, hike, snorkel, and enjoy lunch on the beach on one of Loreto National Marine Park’s most fascinating islands.
No experience necessary.
Includes: SOT kayak or SUP, paddle, life jacket, dry bag, guide, trail lunch, Marine Park permits, and motorboat ride to and from the island. Full day tour.

Paddlers with experience (wet exit, boat control in small whitecaps) can paddle to the island and back under their own power. Meet in Loreto and caravan south to a beach near the island. Paddle the 2-4 miles across to the island (depending on launch location). Return to the beach via kayak, and drive back to Loreto.
Experience required.
Includes: sea kayak, paddle, life jacket, spray deck, dry bag, guide, trail lunch, safety gear and Marine Park permits. Transportation to launch can be provided; save if you have your own vehicle.
Time: Full day tour meets in Loreto and lasts 5-6 hours.
