Remember Mom saying “Go play outside”? This is Mother Nature inviting you to the most amazing outdoor playground, with renewable energy rides that go on and on and on!
It is of course weather dependent. If there’s no wind for a scheduled downwinder, we offer the option of a beautiful coastal paddle, or a different day, depending on availability. With variable put-ins and take-outs along the coast, this is a flexible route. Anywhere we go is a breathtaking view of the nearly-mile-high Sierra la Giganta range and the offshore islands of the Loreto National Marine Park.
Sea kayaks, SUPs and Sit-on-Tops are all available, though they will be managed in different groups. Sit-on-top kayaks are a ton of fun and make this trip accessible to folks who want the adrenaline but don’t have the experience for a sea kayak or a SUP.
We maintain a 4:1 ratio of max paddlers to guide for safety’s sake, and we do practice safety maneuvers at the outset and set parameters for group management. Our guides are also certified coaches and instructors, so you’re invited to ask them for tips to improve your wind-wave surfing technique if you’d like, and get the most out of your ride.
This trip typically runs with about 8-15kts of wind. More than that, and we will consider lowering the paddler to guide ratio, or choosing a more conservative section of coast, or rescheduling, based on paddler experience and port closures.

Three hour tour includes: kayak or SUP, paddle, life jacket, spray deck or SUP leash, dry bag, guide and Marine Park permits. Shuttle included.
