Loreto to La Paz Plus Islands Expedition

Tempted by distant islands? Me too. Let’s go!

SCHEDULED DATES

There is a place where mountains scratch the sunset. Islands romance the sunrise and whisper sweet seduction. There is a trip that follows this coastline and accepts the invitation of islands.

Loreto to La Paz plus varias Gulf Islands 14-day route

This trip will be challenging, but the best things often are.

In slightly over a hundred nautical miles, the Loreto to La Paz Plus Islands Expedition aims to visit the very remote islands of Santa Cruz and San Diego located north of Isla San Jose. Weather permitting, we aim to start far enough north to pop over to Monserrate on the way.

The 14-day route also visits the very remote islands of Santa Cruz and San Diego located north of San Jose. Weather permitting, we aim to start far enough north to pop over to Monserrate on the way. This extended route provides opportunity to experience endemic species, expansive vistas, unique geology (check out this research paper investigated by this trip’s lead guide Ginni Callahan), and a very satisfying feeling of achieving something special.
